HOW HE STARTED CALISTHENICS AND HIS PROGRESSION JOURNEY
Sercan began calisthenics while searching for a place to breathe during one of the most difficult periods of his life. At that time, he didn’t even know the name of this discipline; his only desire was to move his body and feel strong. Over time, he realized that street workout and calisthenics were not just about physical training, but a way to rebuild life itself.
For Sercan, who struggled with chronic kidney failure during his childhood years and later went through an organ transplant process, this discipline became a means of reconnecting with life.
Today, he has kept this discipline at the center of his life for more than sixteen years, continuing to share the transformative power of calisthenics through the achievements he earned in competitions and the motivation he has passed on to thousands of people.

PHILOSOPHY AND MINDSET
Sercan sees sport as an action as natural as breathing. When he moves, his body becomes more functional and after the traumatic experiences he went through in the past, it provides him with strong psychological support, further strengthening his commitment to this lifestyle.
Throughout his training routine, he has never compromised his discipline unless he faced a serious injury or illness. For him, discipline is as natural as the sun rising every morning. If the sun rises, Sercan makes sure he moves that day.
TRAINING SYSTEM AND FOCUS
Sercan’s training system initially followed a structured plan in his early years. Over time, however, the experience he gained allowed him to shape his own system by analyzing his mental gaps and needs. He generally focused on mastering set and repetition based training. As time passed, he began to shift toward advanced acrobatic movements and deepen his skills in this area. In his training, he always prioritized discipline, aesthetic form and technical accuracy.
He plans his training sessions 5 to 6 days a week. After an intense 1–2 hour workout, combined with enjoyable time spent at the park, he dedicates approximately 4 hours a day entirely to sport. He usually tries to recover by going to sleep early; however, at times when he chooses observation over rest, he clearly feels the disadvantages of this choice.
